Filmmaker and Video Artist, Residency at Jatiwangi Art Factory

George Clark's work bridges art and curatorial practice with particular focus on film, exploring the history of images and how they are governed by culture, technology and socio-political conditions. Recent projects include A Distant Echo (2016) a feature length film that explores themes of cultural identity, ecology and the construction of history and the exhibition A Planter’s Art featuring a new body of moving image works installed alongside a specially grown participatory garden in Taiwan. 

Goldierocks a.k.a Sam Hall

With a celebrity following that includes Madonna and Richard Branson, Sam performs at endless festivals worldwide including Bestival, Latitude and Burning Man as well as more unusual venues such as Soviet bunkers in Kazakhstan. Through the British Council produced radio show, The Selector, she birthed big names in music such as the late Amy Winehouse, The Killers, Jake Bugg and The XX.

Installation and projection artist, Residence with Tanah Indie

Heather received an MFA with distinction from the Glasgow School of Art along with the Bram Stoker Award in 2015, for the most imaginative artwork. She has received recognition for her practice from Glasgow Life, the Hope Scott Trust Foundation and Creative Scotland. She has recently exhibited at The Briggait as part of Glasgow International, the Hidden Door Festival in Edinburgh and the Spectra light festival in Aberdeen. Heather is now an Associate Artist with Cryptic, Glasgow.

Speaker from Thailand Hedwig Tiara Svayambhu

Hedwig is an enthusiastic English educator with a Bachelor's in English Language Education from Sanata Dharma University. She currently is an English lecturer at Mae Fah Luang University, Thailand where she teaches courses like English for Communication and Academic Oral Communication and also has teaching experience in Indonesia&Myanmar. She has conducted research on Thai university students’ narrative writing skills and is passionate about designing engaging and practical learning experiences.
