SIDP Grant 2026_Image

The Skills for Inclusive Digital Participation (SIDP) is a Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO) funded project that will contribute to Pillar 1, Models & Enablers of UK Government’s Digital Access Programme led by FCDO with the objective of building digital literacy and basic digital skills for underserved communities in order to make inclusive digital access locally relevant, meaningful and productive.

The SIDP project implementation kicked off in April 2021, initially covering Indonesia, Kenya, and Nigeria, and has since scaled into South Africa, Brazil and Uganda.

The Skills for Inclusive Digital Participation will provide grants to organisations located in our priority areas: Jawa Timur, Nusa Tenggara Barat, and Papua Barat/Papua in integrating inclusive digital skills training into their programmes.

Funding

Funding allocated for the Grant is GBP 20,400 in total. It is intended to support three institutions. Maximum grant allocated per institution is GBP 6800, equals to IDR 148,920,000,- (One hundred forty eight million nine hundred twenty thousand rupiah). Project duration is maximum of 5 months approximately from March – July 2026 including project’s monitoring and evaluation and final reporting.

First funding disbursement (90% of the total grant) by the British Council.

The British Council will pay correctly addressed and undisputed invoices within 30 days in accordance with the requirements of the contract. Prior to the payment, the British Council will register grant recipient organisation on our SAP for finance administration

Project's evaluation: end of project survey

Final project report and second funding (10% of the total grant) disbursement by the British Council
