*Welcome reception will be held on Tuesday 3 February 2026
The ThinkTNE Forum is East Asia’s leading platform for dialogue on transnational education (TNE). Organised by the British Council, it brings together UK and East Asia higher education leaders to explore strategic collaboration, share insights, and shape the future of TNE.
This year’s theme, “Multilateral partnerships in Transnational Education – The what, why and how,” explores how institutions are shifting from bilateral to multilateral collaboration models. The forum will examine motivations, structures, implementation approaches, and the evolving landscape of TNE.
-
Why do institutions pursue multilateral TNE partnerships?
-
What models exist and how are they implemented?
-
What are the challenges, risks, and operational considerations?
