The British Council in partnership with government organisation KREASI Jabar (West Java Creative Economy and Innovation Agency) are looking to support the set-up of a number of government-funded Creative Hubs across 10 cities and regencies. In particular, support is required to enhance the capability of hub leaders to shape, plan, and develop their hubs to positively contribute to the creative economy ecosystem in the region.

During April and May 2021, an online programme, Creative Hub Leader’s Development Sessions, was piloted and delivered to 8 hub leaders. Feedback on the benefits and value of the training has been extremely positive and highlighted the importance of such training for hub managers. To ensure that future training of hub leaders is possible in a locally contextualised and accessible way, a Training of Trainers (ToT) programme for locally based facilitators is required.

Through this programme, we would like to create an open call for people who are interested in contributing towards the development of Creative Hubs.
