On 30 Jan 2020, the World Health Organisation (WHO) declared the novel coronavirus situation a global health emergency.
At the British Council, the health and safety of all our staff, customers, and the communities in which we operate is our top priority. We support and cooperate with all local government agencies to put all necessary measures in place to ensure the continued well-being of all with whom we engage in the course of our activities.
We are doing our best to keep all our stakeholders informed in a timely manner of the rapidly evolving situation. We are also encouraging everyone to follow basic hygiene practices such as frequent handwashing with soap and water, using hand sanitisers which are provided at our premises, wearing a mask if preferred and seeking medical attention if unwell.
Our venues will remain open unless advised otherwise to our students and candidates ahead of time. We are monitoring the situation very closely and will continue to take relevant measures in line with the advice of local government agencies in the days ahead. If more information or assistance is required, please call our local office 021 2933 3470 or email us at information@britishcouncil.or.id. Our customer service representatives would be happy to help you. For the latest information and resources on protection from the novel coronavirus, please go to the WHO website here.
Thank you for your kind attention in this matter.
Kind regards
