Following the success and positive responses from the previous exhibition, British Council Indonesia will hold Study UK Discover You Exhibition series on 4 – 9 March 2017 in 3 cities: Jakarta, Surabaya and Yogyakarta.
In total there will be 60 UK Institutions who have registered to participate at the exhibition. The intuitions are English provider, Pathway and Foundation provider, Boarding School, Undergraduate and Postgraduate Programme from leading universities.
The United Kingdom (UK) is gaining in popularity as a study destination amongst Indonesian students.
In 2014/15, the number of Indonesian student in the UK grew by 10.9%. UK has more than 165 higher education institutions that provide opportunities for students from Indonesia to identify the most suitable institution/university according to their choice of subject. UK schools, colleges and universities offer a world-class education – offering students the chance to follow their passions for learning and gain qualifications that are respected by employers and academics worldwide.

Session 1: General English - The art of conversation In this session learners will have the chance to develop their conversational skills in social situations like in a bar or with new colleagues or over dinner with a client. They will practise talking about what they enjoy doing in their free time and learn how to ask and respond to common questions. |

Session 2: IELTS - IELTS orientation This lesson aims to raise awareness about the IELTS test and its format. It will introduce students to some examples of different types of questions they will encounter in the test and will also help answer any misconceptions about the exam. |
