ABOUT THE DEPARTMENT/TEAM
The British Council has a long-standing reputation in Indonesia as a well-respected cultural relations organisation, creating opportunities and building relationships between Indonesia and the UK in the areas of three main Strategic Business Units (SBU); Education and Society, Arts, and English. The global objective of EU Support to Higher Education in the ASEAN region (SHARE) programme is to strengthen regional co-operation, enhance the quality, regional competitiveness and internationalisation of ASEAN higher education institutions (HEIs) and students, contributing to an ASEAN Community in 2015 and beyond.
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING AND WHY
Purpose of Programme Officer job is to provide administrative support in ensuring successful delivery of the co-funded Support to Higher Education in ASEAN Region (SHARE) programme.

You can take pride in the fact that you will be part of SHARE programme team to enhance the harmonisation of ASEAN higher education (HE) area through the formulation of ASEAN HE frameworks taking into account the European Union (EU) experience and work already underway across ASEAN through international partnership.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
You will bring along at least 2 year’s administration experience in busy environments, preferably with the Non-Government Organizations. Proficiency in both Bahasa Indonesia and English is essential.
