What is a master trainer?
Master Trainers are experienced teacher trainers who have been identified for their excellence in training and teaching skills. Most work full-time within the education systems that they operate in. We employ master trainers to lead our teacher training initiatives. By focussing our efforts on talent already existing within the system, we are helping to strengthen education ministry development systems and showcase local talent where possible, proving that local trainers and teachers can become experts in their field.
What do master trainers do?
Master trainers plan, prepare and deliver training in the teaching of English language in order to develop the teaching and skills of our trainees and enhance the British Council’s reputation as the foremost English language teaching training provider.
What qualifications and professional experience do I need?
· An English language teaching degree from a reputable university.
· A high level of English (minimum IELTS 7.5 or equivalent).
· Proven experience in teacher training.
· A certificate or interview may be required.
